About us

Marston & Langinger was launched with just three people in 1978 by converting a Victorian maltings in Fakenham, Norfolk to start a design studio and workshop. Peter Marston - the founder and now the principal owner - began the company with Adrian Langinger to create beautifully-built glass rooms that sympathetically link house and garden. This vision has now been realized, and in creating beautiful structures, and helping his clients to embrace them as family rooms, Peter Marston and his team work from both inside and out, editing furniture, accessories, textures and color to create workable, liveable spaces.

As it approaches its thirtieth anniversary, the company has grown studios and stores in London, New York and Dublin, a specially designed factory with 120+ employees, and an enviable reputation as the market leader in the manufacture of custom-made timber-and-glass conservatories and poolhouses. Marston & Langinger has also developed its retail business, which includes furniture, lighting, garden tools, accessories, textiles, and Marston & Langinger's own-label eco-friendly paint.
