Shipping policy

We offer two delivery methods on items bought from the Marston & Langinger Internet store, standard courier service or special service.

Standard courier service
The standard courier service will despatch your order, normally within five working days, or once all items are available via next working day service.

Special service
The special service is for items that can not be sent via courier due to:
-Items being heavy, large or deemed too fragile for a regular courier service
-To specific regions.
-Orders where the total weight is over 100kg
-Items that are over 1200mm

This is normally a two-man service delivered by Marston & Langinger in our own vehicles.  We will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time for you. We will assemble any furniture and take away any packaging for recycling.

Our charge for two-man delivery is £100.00 per delivery address in mainland England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Highlands) if you live elsewhere, please contact the helpline for advice.

When an item is marked as POA (price on application) we will contact you via email or telephone within two working days with a price to deliver the goods to the chosen delivery address.

Once the price has been confirmed in writing, either via email or post and we have received your 50% deposit, we will proceed to manufacture any Made To Order goods.

Made To Order goods are not returnable unless damaged or faulty. Please call the helpline if you require further information or assistance.

Delivery time scales
Items marked ‘Made To Order’ on the website are not stock items, they are made especially for your order. Therefore these items will normally take between four and ten weeks to be fulfilled.

“On order” items – these items are currently not in stock but have been ordered. We anticipate an average waiting time of between four to eight weeks for delivery however this is only an approximation and so cannot be guaranteed. We will keep you informed of the progress of your order.

For other orders once all items are in stock they will be despatched. Where an item is made to order we will request a 50% deposit when you place the order. When the goods are ready for despatch we will contact you so that we can request payment for the balance of your order.

Only when the goods are despatched will we charge your credit or debit card.

Paint orders
Paint will be despatched by courier as soon as it has been prepared.

All paint orders will be despatched by courier and will normally be delivered the following day. For large orders of paint POA may be displayed, we will contact you regarding delivery costs.

Delivery to multiple addresses
If you wish for items to be sent to multiple addresses, please complete a separate order for each delivery address.

Furniture Access
Please make sure you measure correctly before ordering any furniture. Consider doorways or limited access areas which the furniture will have to go through. If in any doubt please call the helpline.
